Debra’s tax career began in 1996 when she was hired as a receptionist for a local tax business. After twelve years of work experience and partnership, Debra purchased the business in 2008 and D. Moody & Associates was established. In January 2010, after extensive education and experience, she earned the professional designation of Enrolled Agent. She is also a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals.
Debra is a highly sought-after tax professional in the Belton, TX community and enjoys building relationships with customers. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS making Debra one of the nation’s top tax professionals.
Debra and her husband, Gregg, have 5 children and 17 grandchildren. Outside of work, her faith and family, including two dogs (Emily and Cooper) and one neurotic cat (Pepper) are her greatest joy and top priority. She also enjoys gardening and all outdoor activities.
Lorraine began her tax career as a tax preparation professional in 1997. In 2003 she was employed by a local Belton tax company and has worked alongside Debra Moody ever since. In 2008 Lorraine was instrumental in helping Debra during the purchase of what is now D. Moody & Associates and was employed with this firm right away.
Through intense and extensive study, Lorraine earned the designation as an Enrolled Agent in 2013 qualifying her as one of the nation’s top tax professionals. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS.
God and family are first in her life. She loves spending quality time with her family and loves traveling. Lorraine and her husband, Victor, have been married for 28 years. Together they have 3 grown children and 1 crazy dog.
Shawna has been on staff with D. Moody & Associates since March of 2010. Her responsibilities include Office Manager, senior payroll administrator, and she also assists in bookkeeping. Prior to joining our team, Shawna brought with her 11 years of management experience from a local financial institution.
God and Family are the most important parts of her life. When shes not working and taking care of customers, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ronnie, and her 5 children going camping, outdoor activities, and helping others.
As our primary Bookkeeping and Accounting professional, Louise has extensive experience as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, comptroller, and general manager. Prior to working with D. Moody & Associates, Louise has working experience in the retail, construction, and manufacturing industries. Although retired from full-time work, she maintains a part-time position with us as the go-to resource for bookkeeping and accounting needs.
Louise loves puzzles and uses that ability to solve everyday bookkeeping problems. Louise resides in Belton with her husband, Claude.
Stephanie is a recent addition to the D. Moody & Associates team. Prior to joining our team, she was in restaurant management. After deciding to change her career field, Stephanie is now earning her degree in accounting and business management.
Stephanie is an essential part of the support team at D. Moody & Associates handling a wide variety of office administration related tasks. She is training in all aspects of tax and bookkeeping. When she is not studying or working, Stephanie and her husband, Russell, enjoy car shows, concerts, and date nights.
